After Kenzis Basketball game Saturday we took a drive in downtown San Antonio and ended up at Market Square. It is a huge market with hundreds of tiny shops and a farmers market. We ended up having lunch at a Mexican restaurant and bakery called Mi Teirras. The food was the closest to authentic Mexican food I have had since coming to San Antonio and it was very good. We were even entertained by musicians that went around to tables and played songs for a small fee. Because the trip was so impromptu we didn't get to stay very long but we plan on making another trip the next time McKenzie has a game.

That's the thing I do Not like about SC. There really isn't any good Mexican (authentic or Americanized). They like their fried food and biscuits down here.
Hi Linsey,
Early intervention is a Utah school program here. I'm not sure if every state has something equivilent or not, but my pediatrian told me about it initially and then I've spoken to another mom in my ward who has a son attending right now. It all starts tomorrow, so hopefully it goes well! Wish me luck.

Sounds like you guys had fun. Maybe SOMEDAY we will actually go somewhere more than 30 miles from our house...perhaps we should plan our trip down there. Who knows... kinda hard with 4 dogs, but maybe.
