A divine experience
A warm muggy day, the kind where your clothing clings to your body persistently...... sliding into a cool clear inviting pool...... a tropical rain shower pouring down on you while you glide through the water. That was what I experienced today, and I have to say it has been one of the highlights of my summer. I have enjoyed taking a walk on a summer day while there was a warm drizzle of rain but never have I been swimming during a rain shower. If you ever get the chance to experience it don't waste a minute thinking about it just go its divine.

I was swimming a couple of months ago when it started raining on me. I actually didn't like it at all, but maybe that's because I was doing laps and I would get splashed by water when I lifted my head out to breath. That was one of the few rain storms we got this summer without lightning. Ya we usually don't go swimming if it is cloudy here. We get A LOT of lightning, and it can get kind of scary too. I've heard lighting (well, I guess it's with the thunder)out here that I know has hit something. There was a storm a few weeks ago that actually hit the roof of a church member's neighbor. Scary stuff.
