Veterans Day 5K


Saturday Seth and I completed our first 5K. I clocked in at about 45 minutes which is a terrible time but I don't feel too bad about it considering I was pushing a stroller up hills with about 70 pounds of kids in it and I have a sinus infection. My goal is to knock at least 15 minutes off that time for my next competitive 5K. My goal at jogging 3 miles 5 times a week has ended up being more like 3-4 times a week, but I feel good about myself for even doing that. Eventually I would like to work up to participating in a 10K.

Way to go! You and Ruby are total inspiration. I REALLY need to get my butt in gear and start exercising. I really wish I lived closer to ANY of my friends that way I could have a little encouragement and accountability!!! Keep it up!
