Christmas was a very quiet enjoyable experience this year. We slept in till 9 which was enjoyable in itself and then we proceeded to open gifts. Kade was overjoyed to find Thomas the train as one of his presents and hasn't stopped playing with it since. Thomas has made his way to a number of places including the bath tub so I'm surprised that its still going strong. Thanks to those people who actually made a toy that doesn't break in a couple of minutes. Kenzi asked for a Barbie for Christmas but I haven't seen her play with it more than a couple of minutes. Maybe I need to build her a doll house like Ruby did for her girls. After opening presents I got to work on preparing a traditional Christmas meal made up of ham and funeral potatoes among other things. It was really good and we feel so blessed to be able to have these luxuries when so many people dont. Hope everyone else had a great Christmas!

Is the x box fun? Jason goes to Halo parties every once in awhile. I'm not at all a fan of those kind of games, so I don't mind him playing it at someone elses house.
Love the Christmas post. You know the Barbie thing will come I bet---especially when she has other little girlfriends come over to play. Thomas rules! Boston loves those things and yet--so far ours has withstood the great amount of torture toddlers put their toys through. :)
