The search is on

Seth and I have been looking at cars for the past couple of months and have decided that we really love the Honda Odysseys. They are hard to find used though so we are still looking for that ideal price, mileage, and year. We will be getting a
new car before August because there is no way I am taking our current car on a trip up to Idaho, so hopefully we can find a great deal.

Scottish Fair

During General Conference weekend we attended the Scottish Fair in Helotes, Texas.
We enjoyed Scottish food such as scotch eggs, the clans, games, and dancing. We had a fun time and it has made me want to get more involved in my Geneology.

Easter Sunday

Our Easter Sunday was pretty laid back. Before church the kids discovered Easter baskets with quite the assortment of goodies including kites to take to the beach. They then found eggs hidden around the house. After that we went to church and then came home and had a roast with potatoes, rolls, and corn. No traditional Ham

dinner for us. We then made our way over to the Moores,(some friends from the ward) where we played games and ate our way through too many sweets. We had fun playing games but as always we missed having family around for the holidays.

Homeschool

Ive been a slacker with Kade in the teaching department so Ive started working on curriculum and getting supplies so that I can start teaching Kade at home. I have decided to do it until hes 4 and then if I can afford it send him to a public preschool till Kindergarten. If anyone one has any great resource suggestions such as websites or books please let me know!

Girls night out at the Drafthouse

Saturday Night Seth babysat so I could go enjoy a girls night out. We ended up going to the Drafthouse a movie place that serves dinner during the movie. I enjoyed an artichoke pizza while I laughed my way through 17 Again. It was good to have a girls night out and although I love my children it was nice to do something without them! The movie itself was great and fairly clean so I would definitely recommend it, I think even my hubby would have enjoyed it.
